Not as a playable character. He can be a secret boss who is a human size. Otherwise, save him for later games.

Yeah they could just make another excuse as to why Daegon is walking around. Just have Caro assume things are going wrong when Edenia is invaded by Kahn. Daegon is freed, Shinnok appears to him, Daegon kills his parents, and then creates the Red Dragon Clan hunts down his brother.

I kinda liked the concept of armageddon where everyone (almost) dies because they would have to drag the story on, but it was very badly executed.
Even KAK could have been good! Although KAF was the worst idea ever.

I feel beyond this point in the storyline, they should change the story. MK9 (MK-MK3) was fine because it was the highlight of the series, it WAS the series, and using Shinnok is fine because he's right on the edge of the first generation and he's accentual but should we really get remakes of DA, Deception and Armageddon? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of rebooting the series? It seems alot of people are expecting this. My question is, if we get another Armageddon are we going to reboot the first the games again? Lol

I think they will reboot MK4 MKDA MKD and MKA individually, and when this ends I guess mortal kombat ends unless they do spin offs.

I doubt NRS would set their series up for an end any time soon. Boon has even said as long as people buy their games, they'll continue making them. I don't think the later series is awful but good god, why should we go through these plots again? It makes absolutely no sense. We already know how these stories play out. And if the series really heads to another Armageddon, then what was the purpose of having Raiden try to prevent this in MK9?

That's not it! The story will be different! Because raiden will try to prevent armageddon, the plot will definitely change, for better I hope (unlike CSZ), and if he succeeds in preventing armageddon, the story can go on!

i doubt MKDA-MKA will happen, it would be better if Raiden would try to stop Shujinko and Dragon king would empower him so that Jinko would be the bad guy for the game that covers this

If they do happen, the plot will be altered for sure. Maybe Bi-Han will have his soul cleansed by the soulnado, and that, my friend is a major plot twist.

I liked him as just a flaming fighter in the background in MK2, so I vote no. Every other depiction of Blaze has been lame. and we don't need to hear about the "OMG CINDER CLONE" people.

MKDA really can't happen with no Shang Tsung. MKD could happen sooner with Nightwolf dead and they could easily skip Armageddon by just introducing in a new threat to the realms. We'll probably get Onaga or something new after Shinnok

Yeah, if the whole point of MK9 was to prevent Armageddon, and yet they retell that story, I will officially give up on NRS' attempts at expanding on MK. They did an AMAZING job in particular with MKA and MK. MK9 was decent as well, but if they're gonna retell the story, all the while in the latest game, preventing what happens in the original timeline, that would hands down be the dumbest shit I've ever seen in terms of story writing and continuation.
That's just like saying the new Star Trek movies are going to be the same as the original movies, even with knowledge of the future due to original Spock.
On topic though, how much longer til the next character?

They won't retell MKDA only MK4 and MKD I guess cause Shang Tsung is dead, and maybe they can fit in MK4 and MKD as happening together, that would be awesome, and after MKD a unique story to move on with. That's talking 7 years later lol
