Your favourite video game Samurai

Now everyone seems to love Ninjas these days. It's not just MK games, there's a general consensus that Ninjas are cool.

Know who I think is cooler? Samurai's. Here is a list of some cool video game samurais.

Kenshi - needs no introduction really, a blind samurai that now uses telekinesis to fight with.

Bishamon - from the Darkstalkers game. Probably my favourite Samurai ever. Bishamon was a normal villiage man, possessed by a blood thirsty suit of armour and sword that demands a minimum of one murder a day.

Yoshimitsu - despite his "samurai" looking appearance, Yoshimitsu is the head of a ninja clan in the infamous Tekken series. Very popular due to his ever elaborate changing appearance throughout the series.

Garuda - very underrated character. Created by Capcom and Akira, Garuda is a very powerful demon composed of all the spirits of warriors using the Satsui No Hado, and will actively seek out fighters like Akuma or Evil Ryu to kill.

Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur is a badass samurai, Silver Samurai from X men (Not really from a video game but was in MVC2) I always liked him. Also I agree about Garuda he is definitely one of the most awesome Street Fighter characters.
 
Always wanted to see a Bishamon/Silver Samurai match up in a cross over. Huitzil vs Sentinal would also have been epic.

Can't believe I forgot SS and Mitsurugi.
 
Great list of Characters so far.

I think my favorite character in Flagg's list would have to be Garuda. He was awesome in Street Fighter Ex3. His character is a lot more ominous then Akuma by far. I remember he had a sick theme as well.

I also dig Bishamon's design, wasn't my favorite fighter but he was definately one of the better DarkStalker characters.

Practically the entire cast of Samurai Warriors, as they're based on real historical figures, and Minamoto no Yoshitsune, from Genji: Dawn of the Samurai (one of my FAVORITE PS2 titles!)...though he isn't strictly a samurai, historically speaking.

..but...he's a ninja....and having a 'samurai appearance' doesn't make someone a samurai....Even his description is 'Space Ninja'...and you even mentioned that he is the head of a ninja clan so either you already knew he was a ninja yet included him in the list for some reason, or, you really thought he was a samurai that was head of a ninja clan.

Anyways, I like Kenji from Way of the Samurai =)
