I've replied to a couple but 90% of them I haven't. Also I've had that privacy setting for a couple weeks now and I've just gotten banned today so that's not it. If you got banned for sending hate mail to people, 99% of the MK9 players would be banned.

Its not getting banned for hatemal. Its getting your hatemail replorted that gets you banned.
 
I can tell you for sure that if I were a girl gamer I would always be in party chat or have my mic off. Bunch of immature a-holes online.

That's Rep. Rep and Complaints are two different things. Its best to just ignore Rep, I got a lot of voice related ones when UMK3 was first released even though I didn't even use a mic at all.

Rep is used to place other players on an Avoid list. When you leave someone a negative rep the system attempts to make it so you won't be placed in a game with that person again. If you give someone props then you'll be more likley to be matched with that person. They also keep check of the accuracy of complaints. If someone is filing accurate complaints thiers will be moved ahead of people who have been filling false complaints.

Complaints are the system used to determine if somebody is doing something wrong. One complaint is all it takes, if multiple people file the same complaint they will be condensed into that first complaint so there are not multiple. An actual person looks at each complaint and determines if it is valid or not. They do track an incredible amount of data.

Sending messages can get you suspended, it usually starts with a communications suspension though. You won't be able to use voice chat or the messaging functions if you have a communications suspension.

Edit: Also a suspension for cheating or using a glitch to gain an advantage is until 12/31/9999, permanent. A lot of people are getting banned because of the CoD W@W "infections" and they continue to ban people who exploit map glitches in GoW2. They do not ban people just because of a report, generally they will have to witness the user exploiting these cheats/glitches or have data (Halo heat maps for example) to confirm a user was actually cheating. Modding or glitching a leaderboard is also a permanent ban, this doesn't seem to be enforced a lot though.

oh that and some guy rage quitted and said that I was a spamming ***** and he didn't want to play with no pussies, and that I should play like a man....(eventhough I didn't play a single match with him, I chose Sindel and he raged out)
 
Last night I was in a Jade mirror. I won, and I got "If you didnt use specials over and over, you would be shit. Eurotrash"

Charming I thought, I sent him a "sore loser" reply and he pointed how appalling I was at this game.

This game is also full of bad winners. Ive had people send hate AFTER they've beaten me. Or talk trash during a match. And im not talking about banter, real hate filled stuff.
 
People in legit tourneys spam and corner rape all the time, it's up to the player to get out of that situation. I hate people that lose and act like babies.

wait you left the kitchen?? jk just move your tv and system into the kitchen take a picture, so if someone says something be like "I am! its where i play my games, that way I can quickly grab a snack or drink while playing" just a suggestion
