I like both of them and use them both alot in MK3. Both have their ups and downs. But in the end, It's Cyrax that I use more. And in the upcoming MKA game I think I will use them both alot. But yeah, I'll go with Cyrax on this poll [mustard]

cyrax was definately a cooler character simply because he had a disabling move with his net. but i do think sektor was at his best of the series in MKT with the double missle shot. that spiced things up a bit especially for combos. with any luck these two will retain their moves from previous games in the new one.

Sektor, mainly because he manages to be the only cyborg that has absolutely no humanity left inside him whatsoever. Plus that double-missile move was killer.

I have always pondered what Sektor looked like before his cybernization, man? He may well have looked like Ermac in many ways. Being the color Red is one of them. But more importantly, what did his human side really look like and what was his goals in the clan he originally came from? MKA may provide some indepth info about his origins when completing the game?:elefant: yay!
 
Sektor has always been my favorite of the three cyborg ninjas. I like to play as Cyrax more because he has better combos and his net (in MK:T) and the spinkick/buzzsaw combo in MKDA. Sektor is more menacing and evil though. He's got a whole army of freakin' Tekunin soldiers at his command! He's truly Sub-Zero's nemesis I say!

Eh, there was used to be a cartoon show and it had an episode in it with sektor still in lin kuei form.
 
I prefer the fan-made ones. I don't have a link but I remember in the art section somebody had a fake of human Sektor with a sweet mask.

You mean "MKA"? Yeah, dude, his Buzzsaw move was tops. So cheesy if you wanted it to be. And I loved his fatality.

Sektor made a brief appearance in the animated series, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm. In the first episode, "Kombat Begins Again", Sektor and Cyrax led an attack on Earthrealm that was thwarted by Earth's warriors and Sub-Zero. Sektor had one line of dialogue during his confrontation with Kitana. During a brief flashback scene in which he was unmasked, he was portrayed as a black man with long dreadlocks. His human form has never been described in canon.
