I main jax, but I've been playing jade a lot lately and she is getting moved to main, much more fun to play.

I main her as well.

here is 1 random thing in the lab

If you catch your opponent in block with jump in punch. Instead of trying to break their block cuz jade really can't to be honest. I usually do JiP 2,3,F2 into EX upward boomerang (has to be up, otherwise your opponent can get out.) your opponent, can try to jump out of block after the rang goes through block but he'll get hit. If you call that out. Full combo with B2. If they don't realize it's coming back, full combo off of jump in punch.

If they keep blocking knowing it's coming back, and afraid of B2 full combo. you get ANOTHER free block pressure attack. I usually do F2-1-2 at this point and throw in a special at the end like shadow kicks.

Now... if they block this entire Things. it's roughly 20% damage in chip.

now you might say "1 meter is not worth 20% chip"

Well.. during all that block pressure, the second you throw one shadow kick at the end after F2,1,2. You get a full bar back. You can go for 2,3,F2 again, but that won't give you a full bar back, at this point your just spending meter. (Slowly) but surely.

test it out urself.

here if you block during the return rang, and Saix tries to go for B2, and his B2 hits your block. that's a free roll.

also nothing is stopping you from letting go of block on purpose right on F2 of the first string to get pushed out of the whole trap. Take a hit to avoid a trap. But now your taking damage. but atleast jade isn't getting free meter right?

THEN SAIX CAN GO EVEN MORE DEEP, and CALL OUT your let go of block at that time, and do a dash in 3 out of his 2,3. and FULL COMBO!!

Sweet thanks I will try that out. To mix things up lately after JIP is blocked I would do 342, haven't really concentrated on trying to combo off of it with 3,4,ex db2. b2, 4, 2 shadow kicks for 27%

I really need to practice her corner combo, but I find it really hard.

Yea, But i mean the threads here on TRMK.. I mean its ok to have forum games and talk about current events but i came here to learn more about MK and become a better player. So far critical helped me more the the gameplay section thread..

I think it's more damage bro if you take out the 2 shadow kicks and the 4, Try B2 into 1,2 dash instant uppercut. I believe it's 29%. dont remember the exact formula, but I remember making 29% off of that with something simple ending in uppercut, might've been 2 1,2's


Um some advice that worked for me that you can try.(Corner game)

for online guaranteed damage, I usually do U+3 > dash in 1,2 1,2 1,2 kick>kick or 1,2 1,2 1,2,2. Puts them back on the ground. spam down 3 on people with bad wake ups. mix it up on people with good wake ups. D3 vs block.

After D3 spam, when your pushed too far away to keep spamming, You go for another U+3 if they try to retalitate and get another combo.(people like CSZ/luikang can parry you on U3, and they can also nuetral jump punch you(no one ever does that though lol) They can also just hold down to avoid U3, but most people are scared of the corner and want out, and will eat your U+3 by trying to retaliate.

If they jump at you after D3 spam. you can nuetral jump punch(safer than B2 in this situation). So I mix it up with Nuetral jump punch/U3 out of my d3 corner spam. If they block U3 you usually still safe unless it's kabal or raiden

If you land a DB2 or B2 in the corner, I usually follow up B2 with a jump kick. you'll hit the ground first, then do 1,2 1,2 1,2,2.

If you land a nuetral jump punch, just immedately do a DB2 (You can hit them before they hit the ground.) Then B2 into what I said in the corner.

You can also use EX low rang in the corner to snuff out wake ups in the corner. and possible other full combo.

glow in the corner is always an option as well.

If you trade a jump in punch in MID AIR against a mid air opponent, you can dash in 4, into kick, (if your in a corner strict timing) do a 1,2 1,2 off of the kick.


now for maximum damage you want to include 2,3,F2 in your stuff. but it's strict timing and online dropping it over and over can mean the difference between loss and win.

I overcame this by after...
DB2~B2~1,2 [This is where I readjust my hands, I super quickly double tap forward during 1,2 and I put my middle finger on 2, and my index on 3. and I just alternate really quick while pushing forward at the end. then follow up with kicks.]

worked for me, might not work for you, but give it a shot.

before I did this I always had a problem of making F2 come out instead of 2. now I don't have that problem.

My favorite corner combo (It's harder but looks flashy)

I like to do Up+3 into dash in 2,3,F2 ~cancel into shadow kick, THEN(Before they hit the ground) 1,2 uppercut.
 
Exemery shouldn't you be practicing anyways....

Critical - I mainly like to do 4f3 instead of the 21f2, I trade 2% but I find it much easier to land 4F3.
