New characters for the next game.

I was gonna post this in the other thread, but since it's been locked, oh well.

Anyway, I want a resurrected Viking as one of the new characters. A fearsome warrior Raiden's corrupted self has especially chosen as one of his minions.

I'd also want:

A Knight

A new race based on classic aliens, with spaceships and all.

That female Tarkatan from Baraka's MK9 ending, and more female freaks in general like a Centaur.

Just to name a few.

More non-humans and evil characters.

MKX felt like it was lacking true evil characters aside from Shinnok, Quan Chi, and D'Vorah.

You forgot Kano. He is a true evil character through and through.

But yeah, we definitely need more evil kombatants to balance out the majority of good characters, AND like Noob-Zero said, non-human. I hope Onaga returns in either MK11 or MK12, after the Raiden situation is dealt with.
 
More anthropomorphic animals like Reptile and D'Vorah. I always wanted a werewolf in MK and I always loved the idea of Zebron (with a serious design) and Aquilluxborg Hydroxybot.
 
I'd love to see Kano's son (from his MKX ending) in the next game.
3 or the original 7 can sit out, for once, in this new timeline (imo).

I don't see Liu Kang and Kitana sitting out just yet, since they're now officially the de-facto leaders of the Netherrealm. They might send out Ashrah or some new generation of demon to scout out on the other realms. And Raiden still protecting Earthrealm, is gonna take things too far, especially killing those on Earthrealm who either intentionally or not does any harm to the world without any second thoughts.

Liu and Kitana weren't part of the 3 that I was talking about, and Kitana isn't 1 of the original 7 characters.
It's a typo on my part, because it should have originally read "3 of the original 7 can sit out..."
The "f" and "r" are right next to each other on the keyboard, and that's my fault.
I want Johnny Cage, Sonya and Kano to sit out for the next game and let their children take the mantle for the next game (Cassie and Kano's son).

Forgiven. But I DO agree that Johnny, Sonya and Kano needs to sit out, or better yet retire and just appear as cameos/npcs.

Part of it was error on my part, but part of it was also error on your part.
The typo was my fault, but you inferring Kitana when I never inferred her is your error.

It's like mistaking read and read.
1 is the current-tense of reading, and the other is the past-tense.
Both are correct, but can be misread by the reader.
I put it as (Cassie and Kano's son) in parenthesis because Kano's son was not named in Kano's ending.
I was referring to Cassie and the son of Kano, which was not named, as being the next to pick up the mantle.

Otherwise, assuming that he was given a name, it would have read as (for example):
"I want Johnny Cage, Sonya and Kano to sit out for the next game and let their children take the mantle for the next game (Cassie and John Doe)."

I know. But the way you wrote it, made my mind think out of left field on something unexpected. But thanks for actually clearing things out now. Also I can see MK11 slowly reintroduces some characters from the Orderrealm and like a new character representing the Chaosrealm (not sure on Havik's status once the Blood God saga ends in the comics), especially once the kamidogu comes back into play during Onaga's revival.
 
Not really, the link you posted is a guys wish list and description, I didn't see any new characters on his list. Re read the title buddy.

I agree about Sonya and Kano being succeeded by their children Cassie and Class. In my opinion Sonya loses characters, where Cassie gains it. Furthermore Cassie matures and thus becomes more like Sonya. Class could easily be a duplicate of Kano, where the first is now after Cassie, Sonya’s daughter. This could be even better with on overly protective Johnny who tries to keep Class away from Cassie. Where Kano was just doing everything as he wished, Class could be a more pitiful character. Initially he has a bad name being the son of a Black Dragon member, he has a drawback. Cassie however finds this exciting and dates him. Then Johnny interrupts them as a manner of the first fight in the next game (yeah Johnny always has the first chapter in the game), after which Cassie is really upset.

Concluding I think that Johnny must stay, even so as there is no son of him. Furthermore he is really unique. Last but not least Johnny Cage is already sort of announced for the next game in his ending. ‘His retirement would have to wait.’
 
Class is not Kano's son's name in Kano's ending.
He is an unnamed character, as of now.

It says that Kano's first pupil (student) was his own son, meaning that Kano was his teacher.
Class, in Kano's ending, implied a group of students who are taught together (as in a classroom or school), not a person's name.
Kano's son would be the first to learn in that schooling / teaching / class of Kano, and other students would learn afterwards under Kano.
 
im getting tired of the same rivalries. I want to see an mk game with Kano without Sonya or an mk game with Sonya without kano. same goes for Jax. you know as soon as one of the 3 is revealed then the other 2 will be in. I hope that changes.
