Figures that some rando on reddit with a copy of the Switch version would leak Reiko and Nitara before NRS officially revealed them.
Holy shit! Their marketing is atrocious :ROFLMAO:

As for the final slot(s) on the kameo roster and main roster, my guess is either DLC or a day 1 patch character that will be in there so as to leave 2 things not yet discovered by leaks.
That said, even though Dominic mentioned working with 24 characters, the pessimist in me thinks that this game will launch with 23 characters and that greyed out slot will be the equivalent of the slide-out slot in MK9 for additional DLC characters.
 
It's not like this shit doesn't happen every single time NRS are about to release a game. It's probably why they just gave up on marketing it half way through. WB is so in the hole for proper advertising, It's no shocker this game has shit marketing.
 
Man, that screen tearing on Switch sucks ass.
Hoping for the sake of Switch and PC players that those ports get fixed asap.

As for their marketing, as much as MK11's also wasn't great, I don't recall it being this horrendous, either.
Pretty sure that they did Kombat Kasts for all of the characters on the roster and even did a special Kombat Kast for Shao Kahn (the pre-order) prior to release.
They still haven't officially revealed Reiko and Nitara as playable and it's like they totally gave up on Kombat Kasts, even though this game doesn't have variations, so they easily could have gone over 4 or 5 characters per Kombat Kast.

My guess is that that's a special skin like with the shitty Dimitri Vegas Sub-Zero skin in MK11.
Nothing more than some costume / skin for those that want it.

I mean, that default roster picture doesn't look like Megan Fox, imo.

I don't mind the physical design compared to the voice for the character, but (in general) all of the default skins in this game feel like they're bland on purpose to make you grind in Invasion mode.
That Johnny Cage Invasion mode skin that was shown looks better than his default long sleeves and slacks "meh" look, imo.
Could imagine that Nitara will get an Invasion mode season that will hopefully have a much better skin for the reward.

As for the voice......just.....Ew.
Better than Rhonda for Sonya in MK11, but that's not saying much, imo.
As an audio guy that shit just sounds so bland and lifeless, to me.
Hopefully that was just a raw recording in the trailer before they added different plug-ins / effects to it.
Could have picked anyone else to do the voice-over for Nitara, but it just makes me glad that story mode will hopefully be just a one-and-done thing and then I won't ever have to hear her stupid voice again since 1vs1 and Towers don't have intros, according to the Beta.
