MK movie update/MK Legacy discussion

Straight to DVD, legend of Chun Li sort of stuff. Im confident the Legacy series was to see what he can do with such little budget. I dont have high hopes. I would watch the film if it came out but im not bothered if it doesnt. With the track record of video games to films, it may be for the best if it doesnt come out.

Come on, Legacy was watchable but wasnt great.

Y'all do know that the reason we aren't hearing much about the film is because of MK Legacy Season 2 right?

True. They can't take care of everything all at once. The same with MK10, right now NRS is working on Injustice.

Yeah, Though it's worth noting that KT has seemingly managed to get gears moving on the scripts for both.

Kevin said that season 2 wasnt going to affect the movie and that he is working on them at the same time. So i heard

And was done with his own money. With a higher budget. You never know.

Well...while both are going to get made(seemingly) there is only so much focus he can put on the movie beyond writing until everything for Legacy Season 2 is done.....Unless the studio lined everything up for him.

I always thought if they were going to do a remake, I thought Tony Jaa would be a fantastic Kung Lao.

Lets see put my left hand under my ass and my right hand up in the air for hopes and dreams and see which one fills up faster.

As I constantly repeated, I'm more of a supporter of guys like Shin Koyamada and Nicholas Tse for Liu Kang. Both those guys are good actors, whom are great martial artists AND look the character. IMO

Wow production is really moving slow this time around. Last time they had the season announced, produced and finished within a couple months. Hopefully this season will be higher quality then.
