Liu Kang juggle combo

Not sure if this is a known juggling exploit but I would assume it is.. a basic 3 button combo that juggles you. Some kid online beat me with this the other day.. once he started the juggle combo he could do it at least 4-5 times before it would get me into a corner and I could wiggle out. I was using Smoke btw. Is this being patched up? It's a very unfair and cheap exploit
 
Well in my experience with people chances are if they get beat really bad they claim that something is broken. I was juggling this person getting 40-50% combos and he said I was a glitcher and really bad.

Which combo was he doing?
 
nah I really have no qualms admitting someone is better or more skilled at the game than I am. TBH I'm not really sure cuz I don't use Liu Kang.. all I know is it was a basic 3 hit combo.. The one where he does like a high kick that throws you into the air and then he can repeat the same combo again. Pressing 3 buttons together continuously takes no skill and is cheap as ****.. it was not a bunch of different moves into one long combo.. just the same 3 buttons over and over again..
 
i think i know the one you are talking about. but i think the maximum u can do is like three times in a row then your opponent is too near the ground to continue. i could be mistaken . maybe he added a few extra hits in the middle to lift you up. (i don't use liu kang ^^) but i presume it's the 2,1,3 one.
 
I know the combo as well, it is the 2,1,3 one. It's not cheap, it's just that it lets you repeat it, it's not a glitch or anything like. It feels cheap because it can hit low high low and can be difficult to block if you're not used to it. You can only do it 3 times before they fall too fast and you have to end the combo. It's a great way to pressure a player.
 
I've encountered one person who did this, my jaw dropped to the ground.

I used a breaker the second time, but then it got kind of difficult with him and I ultimately lost to that trick. BP, FP, FK, right?
 
well I thought it could only be done 3 times... like any other juggle combo. But he did it a few times more than 3 in a row.. if it was only 3 in a row I would have beat the kid and no need for this thread. He had it at least 4 or 5 times a few times in the fight. I'm not sure if he was throwing another punch or kick into it so it would reset and he could do it more than 3 times? It's the first time I've encountered something like this online so I wasn't ready for it. Watch out for this guys
 
No, its the combo that is b3, 1 2. Cheapest combo in the game, it goes through 4 or 5 times, in corner def 5. It is really messed up. Def should be removed. Most you should be able to do is 2.
 
I just tested it, 12 hits 31%. You can do the 2 1 3 combo up to 4 times. It's not broken at all, it's just a simple combo. There are multiple ways with every character to get wall combos that are even more damaging than 31%. It's really easy against a wall but mid-screen it's kind of tricky to time the dashes.

I've had that done to me, but it's nothing to worry about. It looks like it can only be repeated 4 times in the corner and 3 if you're not in the corner. I don't think it's a big deal, it's just really simple to pull off.

thats why it doesn't do much damage, with three juggles it only does like 20 something damage right? And 12 hits 31% isn't that good at all, i can get 13 hits 48% with reptile, 41% 11 hits with Raiden, 41% 10 hits with ermac etc, with no meter. So i don't think this is cheap really, easy yes, but cheap? No
 
you must be talking about the infamous fierce tiger combo which is 2, 1, 3 dash~ and repeat...

its a good combo especially if you can pull off a EX bicycle kick at the end.. then your talking business

its op but then again liu kang didnt seem that great until I seen this and his other punch juggle combo in tournys
 
In the corner b,312 b,312,213 uppercut does 36% damage 41% with a jump in punch just saying not cheap though because both jax and striker have combo strings that lead to higher damage 12121212corner juggles

Jump-in-punch, 1, 1, Hat Spin, Jump Kick, Dive Kick

You can add a couple of stand punches between the Hat Spin and the Jump kick, but they only add 1% of damage per punch, so it's not really worth the risk, usually.

I agree, this really breaks Liu Kang in my opinion. Everyone does this and it really shouldn't be in the game. I hope this is patched up, it's obviously a cheap exploit that needs to be dealt with.
I love how certain people on here though think this game is perfect and no matter what you find in the game that really needs patched, they freak out and call you names like 'scrub' or 'cry baby', then when you play them online (like I did earlier with a few of them) they realize you really do know your stuff lol and then they're cool with you.
Haha, some people I suppose.
