Frost (DLC) Thread - "Could Frost merely be hibernating?"

He means Kenshi, but there is a rumor that kenshi wont have telekinetic power this time so he would be only a swordman, sounds like a great idae i hope its true. (And makes sense since Kenshi didnt meat Ermac yet, and Kenshi learn telekinesis after he set free Ermac from Shao Kahn's domain and become a good guy)

Yeah, I'm pretty pumped for this new rendition of Kenshi. I never had the same "Ermac clone" problem with him that some other people did, but I always wanted more of a swordsman angle from him. Looks like I'll get my wish soon lol.
 
I was never a fan of Frost at all....I don't care if she ever gets added to the game but, yeah, not a fan and wouldn't spend money on her.
 
I wouldn't mind having Frost as DLC. I personally felt a little betrayed when she did what she did in DA, but it's whatever. My own damn fault for expecting her to be a loyal apprentice in a clan of ninja that'll serve any side for the right price.

A decisive evil Frost would be fine. No more of this "Neutral" crap branding on her. She's EVIL. It was her intention to steal the Amulet, amplify her powers, and destroy everything (as can be seen in her Armageddon ending). If she had it her way, every realm would be a frozen wasteland. Now I don't know about you people, but that's pretty damn sinister to me.
 
I was established by Deception/Unchained that the Dragon Medallion drove her insane. All she wanted was power, it was being driven insane that caused her to seek destruction. That's Neutral.

Pretty much agree with this. I think she could be interesting, but the only Frost I enjoy is Marie-Claude Bourbonnais.
 
How much are DLC's going for? Sorry, im in Australia so i havent had a look yet (c'mon, pass the bloody over18 classification already!)

Id prefer if they spent thee time on developing MK10 then adding to MK9. As what i have read is that they have had to leave content out due to time constraints.

If they start developing the new game now then hopefully time constraints wont be as bad next time.

I do however like the way that they edited characters damage. lowering some and increasing others.

DLC has a place withing each game but needs to be limited.

I love Frost but I can wait till next game. Good things are worth waiting for, painful yes, but worth it, especially in regards to character devoplement.

This. I don't care if SZ and CSZ are the same person they take up separate slots, and have separate moves so screw that.

I'm just going to grab an umbrella and wait for it to Rain.

You can't be serious. So you're telling me that I'm not considered evil if I'll incapacitate/possibly kill my own master under the pre-tense of "wanting power"?

An act of evil/treason is not negated solely because your intention is to gain power. It's still evil.

No, it's selfish, not evil. Selfish is not evil, though it's close. If she had attacked SZ because she wanted to hurt him, that would be evil. She attacked him because she wanted the medallion, which is selfish. Note, she didn't even try to hurt him until after the medallion sent her to the loony bin - she only tried to incapacitate him so she could take the medallion.

Although you hold a point that selfish does not always = evil. sometimes to find self happiness you have to be a little selfish. But.... when you are hurting others for your selfish desires... that relates to evil. I'm with thirteenthorder on this one.

I believe she doesn't truly mean subzero harm if she could get what she wants, but he was in the way and despite him taking care of her and bringing her under his wing she still had the balls to do what she did. And if she had somewhat of a conscience, she could have gotten that power by just being loyal and training under subzero until she got good enough to handle it. But she was impatient/ hurt others for her own gain.

I wouldn't go as far as say she wants to hurt EVERYONE for pleasure... but she does have evil intentions to meet her desire.

lol subzero showing respect/forgiving someone doesn't make it any less evil.

I've seen some lady back in the day that forgave the guy who murdered someone in her family after he apologized... that doesn't make him any less evil in his intentions when he killed them lol.

to be honest if I was arguing on your side man-eater I would try counter arguing by using Scorpion as an example. He does evil things himself to satisfy his revenge, yet his alignment is "nuetral" (Might say netherrealm but he only agrees to help netherrealm thinking it will help him on his rode to revenge)

I guess you can say she's nuetral... when it comes to allegiance to a side (AKA earth realm, netherrealm, outworld) But not when it comes to good/bad lol.
 
I classify her the same as scorpian.

She commits evil actions but not because of evil intentions. Just caused by emotions (vengence, or power)

I totally had a typo saying her instead of him.
But I guess you have a point. Another character that had this same problem was Li Mei. I adored her in DA and Deception.

Power isn't an emotion. Her want of power may be classified as one, but that falls under the category of greed. Greed's not a terribly kind emotion and when it begets violence it's almost exclusively considered evil.

True true. I guess i just wanted her to play nice lol.

If they put her in the next game (or DLC now) they may change her story line like they did kabal.

And with the CSZ scans giving us a glimpse of her in the game, youd think she'd eventually become part of the storyline and most likely playable, whether now or next game
