You've made me want to start collecting again :( I was browsing through Ebay and saw so much stuff I would love to have. However, I don't have any money right now. Maybe in the coming months I will be able to. My guess is the difference between the UK and US version is most likely that one is NTSC and one is PAL.
 
a loose MK Plug and play TV game from the UK arrived today. now i have a loose one and a boxed one both from the uk.
the one from the us still hasn't arrived.
i played with the loose one on the tv, and what a crap quality... even the ps1 looks better....
and the tv game controller is also very slow... but it's still fun to play

today also a boxed 2000 Palisades Mortal Kombat Series One Sub-zero arrived

sometimes it's also difficult for me to buy mk things.
all the nice things that i want are located in the US.
for example the goro statue. shipping to me will be $61. that's to expensive for me...
so i hope that i find one located in the UK, shipping will be less then....
if i lived in the US, i think my whole house was stuffed with mortal kombat things... :lol:
 
Yeah, that sucks for you, paying all those high shipping costs. I've purchased items from other countries before but very rarely. I do have to say it is a major plus being an MK fan living in the U.S. cuz the shipping costs are much lower shipping within our own country instead of having to import stuff. I unfortunately don't have a house so I can't stuff my place with quite as much stuff as I would like to.

- 1 German MK Poster A1 size with the dragon logo and text prepare for mortal kombat Januar 1996

Are you sure some of these items are legitimate Mortal Kombat stuff? I've seem people try to pass things off as being "Mortal Kombat" when they're really not or people just creating their own cheap, unlicensed merchandise and selling them to make money.

those movie stills are very nice. never seen them before

lol, i try to buy things cheap from ebay. most of the time it works, but sometimes for the mask, mk2 jamma board and goro vs rayden thing it was a lot including shipping and customs

i just bought a sonya blade infinite concepts figure sealed for a cheap price :D

today the 4 boxed palisades figures (sonya, rayden, goro and sub-zero) arrived and the mexican goro (B.A. lookalike :) ) figure also arrived,
new pics will be coming soon !
the mexican goro is a bit larger than a normal figure.
this is now my second and third goro figures (first was a small hasbro goro) and i hope to get a fourth soon :D
