i love it.
he looks unique that way, his alt. is great, but the hair really reads "smoke" more, and it's kool, cuz he doesn't just look like all the other ninjas

Like the hair, it makes him unique and different. I also like his storyline. I also like the fact that all the ninjas are of different backrounds. It would make sense that the Lin Kuei would get special kids from all over earthrealm to join their clan. And I should have seen sektors origin coming. That makes alot of sense too.

b4 any gameplay footage i was hating his hair because i thought it was going to stick up all the time like he put on to much hair spray, but after seeing him in action it looks good, it even flows better than the females thats kinda gay lol. but i like his primary now.

Smoke is my favorite character to use, but I only use his alternate costume. His hair is terrible.

I think it's nice in terms of separating him from all the other ninjas but I really really like his ninja costume covering his hair and face! That one should have been his primary one. It has that nostalgia to it and it just looks cooler, unless they would have made his hair a different style with that same color it would've worked for me kinda like how they did Rain's hairstyle in MK: A something different like that.

I have no problem with it, really. When his select screen portrait was first revealed I was perplexed...I was wondering if he would really be sporting a giant white afro. His in-game model looks nothing like his Vs. Screen image or his character portrait, which I am thankful for. Both of those look ridiculous.
