i just beat shang tsung and kintaro and when i was about to fight shao kahn i think im supposed to fight shao kahn, but anyway when it was loading it just stopped and it was just like that and it hasn't gone since,should i wait?,has this happened to anyone else or is my game or ps2 just screwed up or something?
 
This is a common problem with the ps2 version only. it is the system really. it will freeze on the loading screen for the cutscene before you fight shao kahn or during the cutscene.
 
yeah any bugs, load issues, and freezes, try to also post in MKSM Bugs topic so we can make a list of all these things that were missed in Midways huge, long, game testing they claimed they did.
 
Yeh it happened to me too.
It was a bit annoying.
I felt sorry for Kintaro...
Remember when him and Shao Kahn were actually challenging to beat
back in MKII days?

Games need to be harder I say.

me 2 ... after i.. well...brutally dismembered kintaro... and the loading screen with the tiny red circle with the dragon in it appears.. it froze!!! damn... well i got to shoa kahn the second time though. and a tip. it also froze up on me at the beginning but i just eject the disc and put it back... after ten seconds it either continious or ...well or it doesn't.... forgive my onreasonably crappy english by the way... im dutch and im high.....good times good times
 
happened to me once to luckily it was also my first time and my health was like 1 point. Not even a small health powerup could help me so i was still lucky or Shoa Kahn was gonna smack me to the stupid chair like usual. Man i just hate Kintaro's super jumps ( i call them).
 
yay, we are keeping an old post alive, Well it has happened to me too but only the first time after i beat kintaro. I got soooo frigin angry and it took me so long to get there so i left the ps2 on for like an hour. It's so ridiculous how it happens to almost everyone on their first time.
 
Yep, this happened to me as well. I have the PS2 version, but I'm not sure if it was my first try. I know this happened to me once.
