hey does anyone remember this game, i thought it was awesome because throughout the storyline you could sort of guide which main characters would die and which would survive, and i was thinking, it would be awesome, if in the mortal kombat storyline, you could decide who would win a certain fight; for example, scorpion and sub-zero are going to finally battle, and at the start you get to decide whether youll play as scorpion or sub-zero. Now i could understand many disliking the idea because people wouldnt know whats canon or not, but i thought i would just share my thought :P
 
It was alright, but the best marvel game in my opinion has been Ultimate Alliance 2... I think this X-Men Destiny game is going to be pretty legit when it comes out too.
 
I loved this game. but I didn't like the story mode though.
Wouldn't mind Hazmat to be the 360 guest character ;}
We'll I would rather see a big MK vs DC like story mode where all characters take part. (if I don't remember wrong... Not every character had a chapter in MK vs DC?)

Yeah but they had a role in the storyline but not a major one.
 
Wrote the strategy guide for this one... It was a stinker, imo. Very generic, not a standout by any means. What I'd define as a forgettable experience. (hate to be that guy, so don't let me rain on your parade by any means)
 
yeah it was pretty epic im hoping for more choice based marvel games like maybe a hulk, thor, captain america,iron man or wolverine game where u get to either turn them into a crazed killer or villain like maybe the herald of galactus or horseman of apocalypse or in fact become a good guy and become the leader of shield and get exploit their technology. It would be cool if it was free roam like web of shadows and like each choice got u different upgrades like in too human like if u sided with galactus he'd give u some new power or something or at the end of the game u unlock a new playable character relative to ur choice but marvel needs to make games that are fun online MUA wasn't...it needs to something like shattered dimensions but with alot more free movement and variety sort of like imperfects with a little more complex gameplay and more characters and regular priced dlc probably new characters
 
i loved the multiplayer in this game! story mode sucked.. but i noticed the character's were'nt very balanced.. electra and daredevil did not stand a chance against iron man! or anyone xcept each other.. and that paragon chick was way too powerful.. but awesome none the less.
 
I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I love the finishers especially. It just lacked good graphics and more characters (especially Jean Grey as the Phoenix). I also love the gameplay. Paragon, Elektra, Psylocke, and Jean Grey are my top Marvel characters. I hope they will make it in Marvel vs Capcom 3.
 
It was a good game I thought and I was disappointed that the sequel got canceled. With some balancing and fine tuning, think it could have been awesome (although they probably would have been better to have stuck to the classic Marvel characters). The story mode was pretty cool too I thought, getting to choose who you killed at each stage - just not sure that'd work for MK but a nice idea!
 
I never played it but i have seen videos and it looks similar to marvel ultimate alliance. I like those team up with other super heros and cause havok games lol
 
I liked Nemesis alot. It was one of the games I played alot while I had my PS2. I still remember Spiderman after he wins: "You know what we call that? We call that a web-slinging ***kicking lol. Thats a good idea though Killer Ryno. From the looks of your avatar it looks like you already made your choice lol
 
I hope more fighting games like these come out. I hope a gameplay of a future MK will be like this!!! It's the best Marvel game ever!!!
 
I think in concept the game was ok but the execution was way off the mark. Visually the game had a nice style, but I found the combat to be really lacking. It was nice to have an epic fight as Wolverine or Iron Man in an open environment, but the combat didn't feel that refined or right and things just became a button smash competition. I still wouldn't had mind seeing what EA Chicago had planned for their Marvel fighting game if that project didn't get canned after the studio closed.

The day I join I see a topic about one of my all time fave games. :')

So much love for this game, it was the beginning of my love of video games, and was so perfect idek.

AHahhahahahah I kan't stop laughing at your avatar! And btw yeah my favorite part was the Spiderman part.
 
My fave characters were Paragon, The Wink, all the females actually, part of the reason why I loved the game was the amount of awesome characters.
I liked Paragon (and the meaning of her name) so much that I named my Gamertag and PSN after her.

Oh shit son! When my bro and I had this game, he always used Spider-Man or Thing and I always used Venom. When he used Spidey, we would fight the entire time length, we were equally good! When he picked Thing, I just used Venom's special throw to launch his sorry ass of the stage :)

Edit: @Sunlighter: I loved The Wink, she had an awesome story, appearance, and moves, never used her though lol.
