Why Cyrax and Sektor have organs and bones

I'm not sure it's because of laziness or early previewing. It could be because they're more human than we realize. I would imagine SOME humanity has to be retained to be able to use their original abilities. I this is why they have human faces under their robotic masks. Maybe the rest of the body we see is also a "mask" for the body, or like a robotic suit.

There was another thread about this and while I defended it in the other thread and it is completely reasonable that they still have organs, I'm going to be disappoint if there is no signs of cybernetics in their bodies or arms or Jax arms for that matter.

I'm sure they have all this organic material because some X-Rays just wouldn't work without them. Same basis as Motaro in MKA, fatalities and death traps wouldn't work for him with 4 legs.

I've wondered this also. I'm not sure whether I believe it to be the laziness or the fact that they want to portray the humanity inside them. However, seeing a ribcage fully intact for Sektor and Cyrax when they both have chest cavities that produce missiles, grenades, and electrified nets is beyond me. Also, Cyrax completely disassembles himself in his teleport move. It would be nice to see them rendered internally as cyborgs, but I doubt that will change before launch. The same arguments can be made for how the opponent is still moving after Kitana shoves her blades through the back AND front of their face and how the technology shows soft tissue such as intestines and organs cracking just like the bones do. BUT overall it still looks pretty neat IMO. So I guess, just like the plastered "There's Something About Mary" hair that everyone has, we'll just have to overlook for the sake of it.

It was never firmly established to what extent they mechanical and organic. However, I do wonder how Sektor and Cyrax can house their weaponry with human organs getting in the way. The only way it would be plausible to me is if their armored exoskeleton is substantially larger in size to make room for all that machinery. Oh well, that's where suspension of disbelief comes into play.

In fact, I think it could be possible that a lot of the original body was kept intact because of chi control. It has been known in this kind of mythology that our body and organs are the main source of chi flow and generation.

As for Cyrax's disassemble, I agree it's raises an eyebrow. However, I'm not sure it's too crazy to assume that perhaps they could be merely attached by new, mechanical support parts instead of regular elbows, knee caps, etc. Has anyone noticed that Cyrax's head is part machine in the back?

The automation process could have been mainly motivated for gaining absolute control over the Lin Kuei members.

We cant be too quick to judge, the game hasnt been released yet. I say we save the complaining until after game launch to actually see if they do retain a human skeleton/organs, OR NR Studios comes out to explain why its like this.

Er, in the X-Ray video we can clearly see bones inside of Jax's arms...

I'd imagine their internal organs are pretty much entirely intact. The whole point of assimilating human beings into cybernetic warriors is to use what they already have as a framework. If you got rid of their organs you'd be wasting their innate resources. If you remember Cyrax's alternate costume from the last bunch of games, he's even got a human face in there too.

I like the idea of a robot slave army that you can fuel entirely with burritos.
