Venom in MK9

I am an avid Mortal Kombat fan, and a strong Venom fan. If the two were to make a love child then I would utterly shit my wig. I know that many (myself included) are against guest characters, so he should be late dlc. I just really like Venom is all :bird:.

While I would prefer that he didn't have a story, this is for the people who disagree:

As Noob Saibot builds his army of wraith and shadow ninja. He comes across an abomination, the offspring of a Shokan and an Oni. This putrid creature had been running amok in the Netherrealm, causing unparalleled pain and chaos. Noob Saibot uses his shadow corruption to warp the creatures already deteriorating mind. He names the savage being Venom for its almost liquid like physique and ferocious fighting style. Sporting hundreds of razor sharp teeth, devastating claws, the ability to transform its body, and strength that would put a Shokan to shame, this unstable monster is Noob Saibot's most versatile weapon against his enemies, if he can control it.

I have been on the forum for only about a week, and have literally heard you suggest this about 6 times :P But anyways, where the heck is that pic from?! It looks way different than what I remember Venom looking like from any spiderman movie or game

I don't know where the picture originated from as I have seen in a lot of places.
 
Not going to happen... Netherealm Studios, who produces Mortal Kombat, is owned by Warner Brothers. Warner Brother's pretty much owns the DC Comic Universe. Venom is a Marvel Studio character which is owned by Disney... So that's a real long shot... On top of everything else, no way Disney puts one of their characters into a Mature rated game.

I'm very aware that it'll never happen, this was just a "if" kind of thing.

Venom is one of my most favorite comic characters ever. I do not ever want to see him in any fighting game not done by Capcom.(Still crossing my fingers he is a hidden in MvC3 or DLC later on)

Lol, we're cool bro. I was very aware there would be responses like this, and that's cool. We all like different things.
 
Well, Venom is better then some people who suggested having Naruto as the X360 exclusive character on themortalkombat.com. Urgh.
 
...i just still can't get it...why someone would want marvel character in mk? especially someone like Venom...he doesn't fit at all, besides some moments from moderate known comics, when he uses strong violence to defeat his opponents...anyway it wouldn't bother me if he was there as dlc character and only if he was released much much later after more important and mk relevant characters release...in fact if talking about marvel character that would fit (if there's any) it'd probably be someone like Wolverine or Rogue...a close combat characters without any superpowers with an exception of some special features like Rogue's death touch and kiss for example...

As much as it hurts me to say this, I . . . agree with you. :barf:
Allow me to fix my mistake however, I meant dlc not guest.
 
A fellow true believer! I think Venom is an awesome character, one of my all time favorite villains period. ( though I think Marvel ruined him when the symbiote seperated from Eddie Brock, to me hes the ONLY Venom!) but he just would'nt fit in MK, I've been a huge Wolverine fan since I was 7, but I would'nt want him in MK, the Marvel characters "click" much better with the Capcom universe. I do hope to see Venom in MVC 3 though, but I want this to be a pure MK game, the whole Kratos in the PS3 version thing kinda kills it for me already...

As much as I like Venom I'd imagine Carnage suiting the MK universe much more. Venoms had some pretty gory moments in the comics but Carnage is insane, not to mention a murderer without the symbiote. But overall I think MK vs DC was enough when it comes to crossing over with comic book characters.
