Stage fatality distances

Yeah^. But if there are hidden stage-alaties you might have to stand somewhere different to do them. Has anyone tried this? I figured the Pit bottom would have one and the bell tower goros lair? Somebody should try it out see if any are hidden.

Thanks Jade, that's what I was using. So even though it says varies, the distance is always touching? Is that what you're saying, Shin?

The one thing I didn't understand from the guide is why there was a distance listed for babalities. Why the hell does it matter where you stand to perform a babality? I can understand not being too close incase you mess up the buttons and end up punching or kicking by accident but, otherwise, I don't get the distance part.....I've done it from halfway across the screen and it worked fine...

Anyways, any stage fatality, I do right beside the character because it always involves a grab or an uppercut.

It always says varies. Is there a list of distances for each stage?

Thanks.

I was wondering what this meant too. Only ones I've done so far are the typical uppercut ones (Pit & Dead Pool) and the Hell one (kind of a throw) so I've always been up close. I wonder if by "varies" they mean that you have to be toward a certain part of the stage. Such as you have to have your enemy standing by a certain tree in the Living Forest or at the edge of the roof on the rooftop, etc. Can anyone tell me if "distance" in relation to the stage matters or is it just a typo?

I don't think it matters at all, besides you having to execute the move standing right next to the character. I have done the Living Forest fatality from all different distances.

Oh ok, thanks then. Arcade ladder hasn't been my priority until recently so it's good to have a clarification.

Maybe varies text is there because whole stage fatality input is different. For example scorpions stage in MK9 and UMK is
F, Up, Up, (X on xbox)
And his stage fatality input in MK2 was D, F, F, BL
Has anyone tried this input with klassic music on belltower or something, just an idea :)

Babalities are jump distance cuz some of the babies move a distance like Sonya and her bike kick, Liu Kang and his somersault,Scorpion's spear. It would of been funny as hell watching little Sonya doing her bike kick to someone..lol I cant get enough of these babalities, they are hilarious
