sign petition to make season 2 of mortal kombat conquest

I have to agree with Sapphire here as much as I liked conquest (and despite its cheesiness i did) it is well past time to petition for a second season it was made in 1998 so no i dont really see the point in signing.
 
I own the whole set of MKConquest on DVD. It is cheesy, but I still liked it for what it was. I would much prefer a 3rd Mk movie to be made. It's just taking them soooooo long for the 3rd film. Seems like forever.

Signing online petitions rarely works. If the first season was a success and deserved a second season, they would do it. There is no point doing a second season because the first one wasn't that great.
 
Eh I never saw any of conquest and im not sure if im ever gonna see part 2 if it gets made but I guess one vote wont hurt.
 
The best thing about conquest (despite the amazon like scantily clad women :mrgreen: ) was the ending, it was a total F*** you to the rest of the series and the quasi politics that had been built up. The writers had probably realized it had gone to hell so they cut through the politics and killed everyone off giving Shao Khan a deserved and unexpected total victory. I just found some cuts from the episode "Vengeance" on you tube that featured the entire standoff between Shao Khan and Raiden and I gotta say those scenes really did make the series for me. Jeff Meek is an awesome actor and the only one capable of playing Shao Khan to his full potential I hope he's cast in the "upcoming movie"?

Ok, I don't know why you are wasting your time on wanting producers to make a 2nd season of MK Conquest, though the only great things of the movies, are, the fighting scenes and the music, very good actors and cameos in there too, but understand why they didn't want to make that 2nd season, it's because, that is the real prequel to the new upcoming movie and it's called Mortal Kombat: Devastation, you should for it in Wikipedia, though the cast is slow, they will make it for sure.

It will be a reboot, someone I know is around producers and actors, told me, that it will start off, where Conquest ended, in the supposedly Victory of Shao Khan, but they ended it like Rayden was still alive and maybe a prisoner in Outworld, neither they surely said Kung Lao was dead, don't really know about Siro and Taja, since they only were characters made for the series, as the Queen Kreeya, and others, they only way I could think of is that Rayden is released by the Elder Gods, setting new rules in MK, and of course, they're not going to be like the cheesy 1995 MK Movie and Annihilation, it's going to focus more in the MK Games, wanting, to do a tournament on earth between the original characters, knowing a little bit of their history as well, that's how I think it could be, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I'm right, just time will know.

I'm skeptical to believe any rumors about this movie. It's been so long in development, the script's been rewritten before. Until I see a trailer or official announcement, it could be about fluffy bunnies for all I know.
 
As those before me pointed out, there's no real need for a second season, especially since the first was so long ago.

You'd be better off circulating a petition for the series to be released in an official and complete Region 0/1 Box Set.

If not, I'm content with the bootleg, commercial-free set I have of the series.
 
your all idiotic to think that conquest should be left alone...it was a terrible ending that was not desrved by shoa kahn. how the hell could he kill shang tsung, quan chi, and katana they are all essential to the 1st movie...with the exception of quan chi. this really pisses me off...rayden had shoa kahn at his knees....and the flip a B**** and ruin the show ed boone is an idiot for that one....and people wonder what happened to mortal kombat sure rayden can still live on...lou kang can be born but...as for shang tsung and katana its ruined i think the need to do something with it... like have the elder gods show there power and set everything back to how it was before it was ruined so shoa kahn will know his plan wont work and stop trying they lose mortal kombat and then it leads into the movie im not even asking for a season just one more finally the right way....therefore supersayin4 im with ya you have my vote even though this is an old thread.
 
1: Don't sign in to a forum and call all the members idiotic in your first, severely poorly written post.
2: You spelt just about EVERY name wrong there
and 3: Who cares how Conquest ended? it was a pile of ass. I doubt it was Boon's fault it ended that way too, he probably had nothing to do with the series. Whenever anything goes wrong it's just 'blame Boon' for most people. The guy doesn't just crap Mortal Kombat every morning before breakfast, there are other people involved too. For instance I think it's John Vogel (could be wrong) who handles the storyline right now, which is all you're complaining about here. And he probably wasn't involved with the series either. In fact, I just checked IMDB, neither of them were involved.
