Shouldn't Cyber Sub-Zero have been called Thundra?

Sub-Zero was Bi-Han and Kuan Liang was Thundra who took his brother's name to search for his killer.

Since Bi-Han became Noob Saibot and Kuan Liang became a cyborg, Sub-Zero became an entity of his own - Boon even talked about it while ago.

If Cyber Sub-Zero is treated as a separate character gameplay-wise then he should be named differently. Since Cyber Sub-Zero is Kuan Liang, he then should have been called Thundra don't you think? If you ask me, I think it'd be a lot cooler: Sektor, Cyrax and Thundra.

Plus, in the next Mortal Kombat game, Noob Saibot being purified, NRS could separate Bi-Han from his evil self and we'd have both Noob Saibot and Sub-Zero in the game along with Cyber Sub-Zero. I doubt they will get rid of Cyber Sub-Zero to be honest.

So, if Cyber Sub-Zero is to stay along with human Sub-Zero, then I wish he could be called Thundra.

I think that's a good idea. After all in MK mythologies the original Sub-Zero was described as being good but tainted with evil. Having him separate into two beings doesn't sound too ridiculous given the Mytho's of MK.

If noob was called Bi-Han instead of noob, then calling CSZ Tundra would make sense. But he's not, so...

if you did change CSZ's name you'd have to change Noob's as well.

Not true. Tundra was Kuai Liang's codename, just like Sub Zero was Bi-Han's codename before he became Noob.

Anyway I agree, I think Tundra is actually a better name than Cyber SZ. It makes more sense since Kuai Liang simply stole the name Sub Zero. He already knew the powers of ice so it's not like he really became Sub, apart from wearing his colors. Strange that NR gave him such an unnecessary name like Cyber SZ, when Tundra is shorter, better and makes sense because it's his true codename. Lin Kuei would've obviously known that too.

Don't pretend you know what they are going to do; For all we know, Frost gets robod, Subby could be gone forever, this noob divide thing.... there are plenty of ways CSZ could stay.
