Excellent! I didn't know scorpion could throw his spear at various angles; if this pic is legit of course
 
It's legit, it was posted on MKUniverse as an exclusive, ultra hi-res shot, one of 3 new screens.

If it stays in the game upon release we'll see later however. It definitely improves Reptile's look though!
 
thats one of scorpions throws. It hits everyone in the face. he launches the guy in the air and them spears them in the face and yanks them to the ground. It isn't a "heat"-seeking spear if you will. Its a throw move.

0.23 is his mka throw and 0.29 is his mk9 spear throw.

this game is gonna be awesome!! the whole trow, combo, fatality, and fighting system.
can't wait to see some serieus fighting online!!

What I think he does (could be wrong) is Scorpion actually stabs the spear into the victims face then throws them away, ending with the yank back down to the ground and retracts the spear. AWESOME!
 
yeah its not like skeet shooting hehe. it appears he sticks it in your face throws his opponent in the air and yanks that sucker back like a bad dog on a choke chain. i will say this, they definitely upped the brutality in this game. Ha, brutality

Checked it frame by frame, and that definitely looks like he stabs them before he throws them.

I like to think of this picture as a strong opinion on the ugly that is Reptile's face.

I hope we get an alternate look for Reptile. The head is not doing it for me.... And apparently not for Scorpion either.
 
I actually really like the look of Reptile in the new game. I always found it weird that he pulls his face off to revile a Reptile instead of just being a reptile that was trained by the Lin Kuei. I love the way he moves in the new game, more reptilian than human.

I'm cool with his overall look. It's just his face that I don't like. Which doesn't surprise me... I haven't liked Reptile's look since MK4's alternate costume. At least this time I can stomach everything from the neck down. The head is just too bleh for me.

I hope he gets a cool alt in this game. Preferably one with a green ninja mask and a not so awkward head.
 
The one thing that I don't like about Reptile's new look is his mask. It makes it look like he has a birds beak.
