I went 5-0 in pool

Beat RuinZ in Winner final who beat Sektroll, then sektroll beat RuinZ in Losers Final. I NEVER GOT TO PLAY SEKTROLL AND i GAME PLANNED HIM FOR A WEEK! ARGH! We were laughing about it at airport 6am Monday, ran into each other.

So anyway after pools I went then 1-2 after

made it to top 32 somewhere in there and lost to neorussell's kitana which i had no idea her hit box was so godlike on crouch. he beat me 2-1 in a very close 3 round match. Good stuff Neo!

I was hoping id play reptiles all day cause Mileena > Reptile 24/7

Saturday and Sunday i played about 9 hours each Money matches, tag money matches, random select money matches and got into it with Brady publicly (which i feel bad about) but later that night we were drinking and water under the bridge. I love that guy and we hated we threw each other under the bus.

I have TONS of videos and pics i will post once i get them transferred to computer

My favorite moment was Team Atlanta (pig and atl_redd) pplaying Michaelangelo/Reo in tag. We won 3-2 then they did double or nothing on us money match and they won 3-1. Got it on video, epic games.

Other than that TEAM ATLANTA went 9-1 in all money matches. Pig/Atl_redd/Fly for the win


Funniest money match was the Random Select Money match where Team PigChump (Kanechump88 and pig of the hut) took on Bone and Chef
We were down 0-2 then came back to tie it 2-2 then Kane and I random selected and got Mileena/Kung Lao both of our mains while I think Bone got baraka or something. Lol Funny and lots of fun.


Also Team Atlanta Took on Socal's best and won - really fun week

Ok so Friday night after Evo I was extremely impressed with Denzel Terry's Sub and when asked in the van (which had about 10 people in there) who was i most impressed with today I said:

"No Question Denzel, he came out of nowhere and made into the top 8 with the bad ass Sub Zero," I continued with "He's got the best sub zero in the business."

At this point Tom goes off on me and says how could i say denzel has the best sub, i dont know what i'm talking about, etc etc etc so i said ok fine then show me your sub.

At Silent's time share we turn on the recorder (Silent has all these videos recorded now) and we fire up MK9 and Tom wins first 2 and shit talks all day and night

then

i win next 2 and show him im just as capable with the shit talking and possibly better at it

then i win the next one with a Flawless Victory and tom gets up leaves room and goes to bed leaving a trail of salt on the floor, So it's over right? No...

Tom keeps telling me all weekend how denzel is going to get blown up, and i joked with him about it but tom was pretty offended i didnt say his was the best, so in the top 8 Denzel never picks Sub Zero and get BODIED by PL and then after the match tom yells out really loud 4 rows behind me

"Pig you dumb ass, i told you your boy denzel would get blown up, pig you're an idiot and don't even know what you're talking about ****ing idiot"

So I stand up and yell back at the top of my lungs

"Denzel still has the best sub, and his ass made it the top 8 unlike yourself so maybe if you'd read your ****ing guide you wouldnt let me flawless victory your sub zero on video **i flip the bird at this point***, crowd goes nuts and starts chanting pig." (i left out some profanity here that i most likely added in response)

Tom yells back his kung lao beat my mileena 5-1

and i said Yes he did....admitting it because thats not what this is even about

At this time security runs over to me and threatens to throw us both out so we realize at that point we've interrupted evo and i instantly felt bad about it because the top 8 isnt about me and it was rude....HOWEVER NEVER will i let anyone try to play me or make me look like an idiot when they're dead wrong.

Tom and i instantly talked afterwards, we apologized to each other...water under the bridge and we're cool.

I love that guy and our friendship, it did add hype to the whole event so I hope in the end it was more positive than negative. Again all i was doing was defending myself as i would do against anyone at any time, i cherish our friendship and all he has done for the community.

SHOUT OUT TO DR DOGG putting out a $100 money wager on Tom vs Pig however never in a million years will Tom try to play my mileena again with Sub. If he does i accept that bet Dr dogg **SIDE NOTE, that was funny as hell when you yelled that!

Eric Warda - I was extremely impressed with Eric, I'm going to go ahead and say for all East coast tourneys I'm putting him in my projected top5 or top3 to finish if he attends. Ive never seen a Kabal played like that, he did new things with his dash canceling and REALLY threw me for a loop. Major props to Eric! He also has that intense fire competitive attittude where he gets angry if he doesnt win and that drives him to fix his problems. I asked him who knocked him out and it was a mileena player (i believe DevilJin) and he worked on that matchup for hours............then we played, and it showed he had worked on it. Love this type of player with that kind of fire.

Reo - Ive always wanted to meet Reo, play some games and hang out and i was even more impressed that i thought I would be with how cool he is and how great of a player he is. My mirror matches with him were some of the most enjoyable matches I had all week. I love the recommendation of Parkview drive (band), and all the tips and strategies we discussed. I'm extremely proud of how well he did and glad to say i supported him 100%. Props to all who got REO to EVO because it was well deserved and probably best investment you've made

Michaelangelo - Absolutely cool dude, and i had so much fun doing golf commentary during our money match. I really admire players like you Mike because of how you approach competition. My favorite thing about you is when on a MKU shoutbox someone was joking with you but sort of being serious and they said "I'm going to kill you at evo, im coming for you Michaelangelo" (this wasnt me by the way) and your response was really sincere when you said "I look forward to all competition and if you have been investing more time and effort and your preparations then you deserve it" - I really loved this answer and really translates to your down to earth fun personality. Plus you're a hell of a gamer at MK. Glad to meet you

Fly - My close and best friend in Atlanta, YES i'm salty as hell about losing to you at the tournament (first time he beats me in 3 weeks, and decides to do it at EVO....ugh) I'm so proud of how far you went and how we both did. I look forward to going to more tournaments together and look forward to your NW taking back the mother land.


Konqrr - I've been waiting to meet you for about 8-9 years now and i wasnt dissapointed. Playing you and watching you in the top 32 and top 16 i could just tell your love for the game and knowledge of it. You're really a student of MK and it shows in your play. Your kitana has been so impressive through mk9's run and definitely was a sight to witness at Evo. I feel very lucky to have played with you and met you. I loved how you were able to adapt to pressure and zoning styles w her, just shows you the elite gamer you are. Really look forward to next time!

Morty - I had a great time watching you play and pulling for you, you're very easy to pull for. I really love how you have put Sonya on the map and now have everyone including me interested in her. I enjoyed playing you and meeting your brother as well and look forward to the next time, hopefully devastation if i can make it. Theres just certain people i play i can get a sense they understood Fighting games mechanics more than others and you're definitely one of them. BTW evo is over so go catch up on Curb Your Enthusiasm

Bone - Man what do i say? We've been up and down with each other for years trolling each other LOL but always had the mutual respect for each other on a personal basis and i really enjoyed meeting you, playing games and getting to know you better. I have more respect for you than you know, everything you do for the scene, your passion for MK and its community growth and your overall knowledge of characters. Those random money matches were hilarious and i have to say, i cant get the thought out of my head the way u used Sindel. Ive never had someone use sindel like that on me, i know they were random select matches but im serious when i say you should really utilize those string cancels and try maining her w Cyrax/ermac. Great guy and great skill, look forward to many more times hanging out together.

Chef - Really enjoyed our matches, great sonya and reptile player who ive always wanted to meet and hang out with. I know this weekend didnt go the way you wanted but i know you will make a lot of noise at devastation and get back to top form. I was very impressed watching your sonya at Silents and clan war - you and morty should be proud and also have a nice rivalry developing. It might be one of my most anticipated matches to watch. Because of this you are very beneficial to the community through your gameplay as well. Also the footage you captured with your camera will forever be known as legendary. Look forward to next time and many more.

B Wizz - Best raiden ive ever played or seen. I'm as upset as you are about your 8am pool and your results. I know you're one of the best there after playing you offline and watching your strategies. Glad you were able to come though amongst your circumstances and had a blast hanging out!


Teabag - between fly and teabag NW is officially on the map. I'm so proud of the way teabag played and how far he got. Dude is super good player and really showed everyone he's a top player in this game and should be feared. I really appreciate him helping me in preparation for a battle i never got to have - LOL - but it wont be forgotten. Look forward to following your progress at WNFs.


Tom - Man what can i say here? You're one of the best shit talkers ever during games however you've met your shit talking match (with me lol) however also a genuinely great guy and funny as crap man. You made me laugh all weekend and your passion for mk and its competitive scene in purely infectious. I feel bad about our little spat in front of everyone but you know what that was? Our passion for competition reaching a melting point that had been brewing all weekend. Water under the bridge and if anyone asked me about you i'd say the same thing im saying now. You're extremely ****y but its also part of your confidence that is well warrented with your Lao, who bodied me friday night....however i got revenge throughout the week. Really look forward to more games with you and our friendship. BTW i think you owe me $20


JOP - Ill make this quick, you're one of the biggest *******s on stage to criticize NRS publicly and to ask tom why he's sitting with that trash during top 8 of evo however you were probably the most impressive player i saw. You're someone i like to describe as a Love/Hate relationship. Love your game but hated how disrespectful you were to the MK team and community. If i had a list of top 3 people id want to crush on stream you'd be #1 but again part of that is because how much i respect your expertise and level of play.

kfrog - really enjoyed playing you in tag matches and enjoyed discussing the MK community, life, bands, tom, etc with you. hate we wernt able to play more and time went by so fast but there will be a next time im sure. You're easily one of the coolest people ive met. look forward to next time

You're an extremely positive force in mk community and i think you have alone w tom contributed to the scene in ways words cant describe with your time, streams, efforts and passion. You deserve the utmost recognition and praise for all you do and continue to do. Im very fortunate to have met you and be a part of the 88s with you.
