Nintendo 3DS - Is it worth it?

Hello, i would like to hear from anybody on the forum that has bought the recently released Nintendo 3DS, i really would like to hear their experience with it. I am thinking of buying one, and i've seen pretty good reviews on the web so far, but i still would like to know right from the gamers what they think so far about the console and its launch day games, especially Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, Ridge Racer 3D and the AR games included with the console.

From what ive seen and read about it, as of right now? Its not worth the money because the launch titles aren't that great. The 3d is cool the first few times you play it but after awhile only becomes a burden. The only game i see that looks somewhat pretty fun would be the infamous street fighter game but thats only if your a die hard street fighter fan and wanna play it on the go, but other than that you are better off waiting for a bigger selection of titles and/or just a more enhanced version of the system because beleive me........they will!

yeah, nintendo screwed up BIG TIME with the release titles, the only game i see playable is the new street fighter 3D, and i lost all interest in SF after Turbo 2. ill get it eventually, to play kingdom hearts: dream drop distance and mario kart, i just PRAY they rid the friend code system its horrible! i wish it would be like the PSN for the psp where you just put in your game and play online

Yeah, i've read the Street Fighter graphics almost are in the Xbox 360 level, but curiously the 3D effect is apparently weak in that game, so is good to show off the proccessing power, but not the 3D. Also i already own both SF4 and SSF4 for Xbox 360, and this version offers nothing new, except the weak 3d i already mentioned.

Yea probably the main game im really getting the 3DS for in the first place (that and some other RPG titles), thats why im waiting until there is a release date for it and thats when i'll make my purchase but until then.........MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!

Il Buy a 3ds went a mk hits the 3ds. how about Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3ds With mk 1,2,u3 with enhanced graphics in glorious hd and 3d :D

man foreal the 3ds is the shit street fighter is amazing imagine lil army men sized streetfighter characters on a table in front you and you control them thats how it looks in 3D you have to see it to believe it,even with 3D off it blows your mind its like a 360 or ps3 in your hand. After seeing what street fighter looks like on here i can tell the 3ds is powerful.I have madden too and i love it dont believe all the bad reviews they are just downing it cuz it has no online damn cry babys but EA should not have did the cartoonish look it's mix between regular madden player models and madden arcade but it looks better than madden arcade. The 3Ds has the power it's just up to the developers to use it,like resident evil i think its gonna look like a console game.Thats my opinion, i say go cop it.

No way is it worth $250. The launch lineup is mediocre and the 3D really is just a gimmick. The 3D effect gave me an instant headache so I always just turn it off (I had access to the 3DS for months through my former job). I'd wait for at least the first price drop and some better software to come out if you really want one.

I'm sticking with my DS for now, and then down the road I'll decide between the PSP2 and 3DS.
