Haha. Why the hell are they making a Rocky 6 anyways.....Rocky 5 was the biggest crapheap ever. Sly's gettin' old. The whole storyline in Rocky 5 was weak and dumb. Him and Adrian always have the same stupid ass quarrels too and she always has some crappy "inspirational" thing to say when they are arguing. Give it up Sly, it's not the 70's/80's anymore when you could be a good Rocky. Now you're just old and wasted.
 
Who cares if Sly's over the hill? Mr. T automatically makes this movie a must-see for me. Mr. T pities the fool who don't watch this movie.
 
Sure, Rocky 6 won't be as good as the first 4 but lets face the facts; this movie will be better than most of the crap that has come out over the past few years. It seems like anyone can make a movie about anything now a days. Every week there's like 20 new movies and most of them suck. Chances are all of them do.

To me, movies are suffering from the same thing video games are currently suffering from: There are too many of them, most of which are not well done or thought out and with no real story, just special effects (Graphics) pumped out to make the studio a quick buck.

I just think there is a limit when it comes to some things. The first 4 Rocky movies were awesome! He was in tip top shape and could pull the fighting off. By the time they did part 5, they knew is was getting old so they had that whole stupid retirement storyline. How do you make a Rocky movie when it isn't even really about him? Part 5 seemed to revolve more around Tommy Gunn than Rocky. In Part 6 he is still going to be retired apperently. I think people who see those movies want to see Rocky fight, not train some guy. Mr.T will probably be on the side in the movie too. I wasn't trying to say the movie will be bad because of Mr.T (he's cool!) but they probably will just end up wasting his character in the movie.
 
Sylverster Stallone is my childohood hero. So i would prefer if you didnt talk about him like that. Hes done plenty of good films Demolition Man, Cobra, Rambo, Cliffhanger ect. I love stallone and the truth is sonce the day they messed up 5 they had a permit to make 6 to bring the rocky glory back. The fact is hes not old and worn out thankyou very much but there isnt a lot of things that are unique in the film world anymore and people have different tastes and no Mr T wont be in it.
 
I'm with you Jacques. Stallone is one of my all time favorites. I like Arnold a bit more but Demolition Man will always be a favorite movie of mine.
 
People didnt think rocky was crap when they saw the rage in his eyes when he was fighting the russian? did you think stallone was old when apollo died in his arms? did you think rocky was crap when he took everything people threw at him and he threw it back harder and faster? i dont think so. they thought wow! and so did I!

Relax guys, I love Stallone but the point is, he's getting old. There is a limit to what he can do in his movies now. He isn't the young, tough guy he used to be. The guys' body isn't what it used to be.

Chill out Jacques, I wasn't verbally raping the guy. Face the facts, these actors are getting up there in age. Look at him in Rocky 5. He didn't do anything in it. He's probably more injury prone than he was 20 years ago. He's still well built for a guy his age but there is still a limit to his actions.

LOL, well, it came across to me that you were practically ripping my head off. I don't doubt Sly as an actor but I doubt his body can take much abuse at his age. He's still awesome though!
