BANALITY
So here goes nothing. Seeing as how Street Fighter X Tekken turned out let's talk about most demanded crossover that is MKXSF or SFXMK. It should be T rated and have more violence than SF but less gory than MK. Think how SF characters can be let loose. No fatalities though. Story could be like MK is dark side and their clothing has black to indicate dark side whilst SF has white to indicate light side.

The mechanics are too different. Unless they did what Capcom & Namco are doing where there are two versions of the game, it would never work.

yea, I have to agree with you there.

PLUS, you know alot of MKfans won't appreciate another T rated MK game...
and Im sure PLENTY of MKfans want to do a fatality as gory as possible to the likes of Ryu and Ken.

It would be an interesting attempt though...
 
Ryu: block button? Since when do fighters have block buttons?

Sub zero: dafuq is a "KO"?

Yeah I love both series but it wouldn't work

granted it will probably make both communities hate it, and only a few love it.


But I think you could muster in SF mechanics, add breakers. So it would basically be street fighter. But add in uppercuts/sweeps.


and add onto the light-medium-heavy of street fighter, with a few strings for each character. So you'll have footsie tools, plus string mix ups.

and bigger combos.


I don't really want that, I'm just saying I think their mechanics can be combined.
 
the main reason I want them to stay seperate, is for the competition. it will force capcom to try harder to appease, and vice versa.

That's why they probably wont make it. Both fans would hate it.


SF fans would hate the dumbed down mechanics and simple high damage juggles. While MK fans would see crossups as cheap and the constant anti airing would turn them off.
 
MK is rated R and Street Fighter is rated PG-13. There may not be fatalities in other words if this happens. It might just have super moves. If this comes out, I hope it'll have MK's button layout and not Street Fighter's
