Has anyone ever played and of the MK games on the Master System? I never played it but I seen pictures of it and it looks pathetic, i could be wrong but thats just what it looks like.

I have the Sega Master emu and rom of the MK somewhere but never got around to trying it out. I will dig it out and let anyone know how it turns out

Yes... I admit my sin. I owned a master system and MK1.

You didn't have Kano. You had poor graphics. Fatilites looked like... Like... Well I won't say but its pretty aweful that I can ensure you. Special moves were somewhat harder to pull off... And sonya Blade could beat the hind rears of every other character.

There were some good games on the master system... Paper Boy... Ultima... Cool Spot... But MK1 just wasn't one of them.

What do you expect from an 8-bit MK game? I've never owned a Master System, but I had the Game Gear version which should have been identical. Again, it's an 8-bit MK game, so what if it looks like crap? Everything looks like crap on a 8-bit system when you compare it to nowadays.

At any rate, this was still a ton better than the Game Boy version.

i never had a console until the megadrive 2, but a friend of mine had MK2 on the master system, and it was really poor. you could kill anyone just by repeatedly using reptile's orb and then uppercutting them as they flew towards you

They never released or produced MK for the NES, there were numerous hacked games thought that attempted it.

As far as the Sega Master System, the game was produced for the SMS because Game Gear is the same as the Sega Master System and the SMS is a lot more popular overseas. So one game could be ported to both consoles very easily.

Wasn't the Master System the British name for the Genisis? 'Cos if so, I played on it and it wasn't too bad.
