Is there an official list showing where all the characters were born, at least their country or region. Something like

Johnny Cage - United States : California
Subzero - China
etc Etc

If not can someone create one or use this thread to update an official list?

Yes but No. You all are right their father is chinese and their mother is american. At least in they are in the original timeline.

That's where they hail from for example my sister was born in dubai yes she has a jordanian nationally, it's about where they lived the most.

I'm sorry I don't follow. You do know nationality includes ethnicity?
 
I understand, for example my ethnicity and my whole family's is palestinian but as far as my ID/passport tells me my nationality is jordanian, all I'm saying that if they had a ID card it would probably say nationality: chinese.

Membership of a nation in the sense of ethnic group (a group of people who share a common ethnic identity, language, culture, descent, history, and so forth). This meaning of nationality is not defined by political borders or passport ownership and includes nations that lack an independent state (such as the Scots, Welsh, English, Basques, Kurds, Tamils, Hmong, Inuit and Māori).

There are other definitions to this word, but this is the one I found most often.

The original post of this thread explicitly specified "where all the characters were born". Apparently, the original poster did not do his full research on Sub-Zero, who, according to official Midway/NRS sources, was born in America. So by that definition alone, Sub-Zero is American.
 
There...according to the definition supplied by the original poster, Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot, and their unnamed sister are American! Now it's settled! Moving on!

Scorpion: Japan
 
Here Is what I know so far well think

Sonya, jax, stryker, johnny cage: American

Sub-zero, liu kang, noob saibot, kung lao, and possibly sektor: Chinese (2nd timeline at least)

Cyrax: South African

Smoke: Czechoslovakian

Kano: Australia

Scorpion: Japanese

The biggest mystery in my case is Kabal
 
here is a interesting what if question for anyone who reads this if the outworld and edenian kast was born in earthrealm instead what would their nationalty be?
