If Rayden were in MK3.........

hey guys........ever wonder what rayden would look like if they added him in MK3? I was just thinking that today when I was fighting Rayden in MKT. Who else has wondered this besides me? what are your ideas? whoever makes a great sprite of it, it would surely deserve karma(if its fan-freakin-tastic). remember, you dont have to post a sprite. this isnt a kontest(unless you want it to be in Artwork, which I will proudly do)
 
Yeh it's unfortunate. But from things like Night-Wolf's friendship and his MKT sprite we can say he'll probably look the same in MK3 as he did in Trilogy and in two. A new look would've been cool instead of just adding a reverse lightning move.
 
I think He would have been MK2/MKT raiden if he were in MK3. And I think they were considering it at least a little bit. It was probably coincidence that they stuck Raiden portraits on the MK3 select screen during early development as like placeholders, but then there is the fact that MK2 Raiden does MK3 levels of damage in MKT.

Baraka, MK2 Kung Lao, MK2 Jax and Johnny Cage all did MK2 level damage. But, strangely, MK2 Raiden does MK3 level damage. He's the only character that was added to MKT from MK2 that didn't have MK2 level damage. Even JC did, and he was created from scratch with a new actor O.O

Very odd stuff.

Actually that isn't true.
All the characters in MKT are the same as how they were in the last MK game they appeared in.
The only character to appear the same in two 2D MK games is Shao Kahn, so chances are Raiden would have a new look. but telling what it would look like is impossible

Actualy YOU are wrong. (That's if you count mk3 UMK3 and Trilogy as different games).

Also Raiden has looked the same in MKII and Trilogy. So I don't know why you say it's wrong.. Baraka also has the same story.

You are right in one place though. All characters from mk3 that were in previus games were remade. So raiden would have also been remade... Right? or is it.. I think that if they didn't bother to change him for trilogy, would they have bothered for MK3???
 
no, you misunderstood.
I said all the MKT characters appeared as they did in the last game they appeared in.
ie:
Scorpion looked how he did in UMK3, but Baraka and Raiden looked how they did in MK2, whereas Goro was stuck in his MK1 appearance
 
Yeah that's right. I did misunderstand. I thought you were talking about something else because I said all the characters that were MK3 were the same in trilogy. That's what you quoted isn't it? O well, it WAS a misunderstanding. :oops:
