So I was watching this unboxing video, and noticed that something looked kind of off about the figure. I go back to look at the original pictures, and realize that the paint job is pretty different than what they promised. It's more of a glossy yellow instead of gold. It doesn't look bad how it is. I'll still be getting it. but I feel like some people will be disappointed by this, because it wasn't properly advertised.

i cancelled my coarse edition today... i preordered it right away because, well, ill spend any amount of dollars on MK stuff... but after looking at the statue, and stuff, it just looks like a cartoony rip off of scorpion. i'm sure they did a good job, but if you add it up, you're paying 70 bucks for that stupid statue. lol

THAT IS INSANE>
 
I wanted the Gold Scorpion Skin, as well as the Kombat Pack so I had no choice but to get the Coarse Edition. As far as I remember, the Import Edition wasn't available for Amazon Canada Customers. The statue will just chill in my room.

Don't you think they'll release the Scorpion Skin as DLC?
 
I would be very disappointed if I paid that price tag and it doesn't look the way as advertised. Looks like they took the cheap way out considering I'm sure gold paint is more expensive and less common. That whole package is a ripoff regardless, but hey if you bought it, hope it's worth it to you.

but seriously tho. in that unboxing video. the character is gold. its a kind of bronzey gold..its same colour gold thats on the front of the box and the same colour gold thats on the business card....but it certainly aint yellah!!
maybe your monitor is off?

I didn't apply any filters to the picture. I took the screenshot directly from the video that I posted.

I just watched the video you posted. It shows it off much better. It's still not the same as advertised, but it definitely looks better than in the other video.

And yeah the other guy does a great job of showing off the statue. The one you linked doesn't even put Scorpion's kunai in his hand correctly! Lol
