A1 has Scorpion a real freakin hard scorpion 300% damage to all his attacks the SoB heals so standing back and nailing him with projectiles is not an option you must pummel him hehe. I used nightwolf and it took quite a few tries finally figured out a pattern i used a barrage of shoulder tackles followed by arrow than shoulder and repeat i guess i basically confused cpu because he no longer blocked after 3rd or 4th cycle

I probably spent 3 hours total trying to beat Scorpion with Sub-Zero and I got close too. But its when I went back to the map, restarted the mission a few times and got Nightwolf that my chances of beating Scorpion went way up. Using Nightwolf, it only took me about ten tries until I finally figured out the best tactic. Like he said earlier, it's all about the shoulder bash. After that, get some distance between you and Scorp and launch a barrage of arrows at him, he'll get hit by almost every one. If he gets close, shoulder bash him again and repeat the process. Do multiiple shoulder bashes if you have to (it has a quick recovery time),whatever knocks him down. If you're feeling risky, you can throw in a lightning bolt after he falls down but make sure he doesn't roll to the side, or you're left open. Oh yeah, be sure to block efectively too, as he will teleport kick you or try to spear you. Stay moving so you can evade his unblockable flame attack.
 
Ya I pulled it off with Baraka too, and I had no real idea how to play with him.

I just did his blade fury and mutant blades over and over...was actually really easy
 
I haven't succeeded in beating him yet, but then again I only tried about seven times before I got fed up and moved on. Does beating him open up the spear move for Shujinko?

Yes, beating him will give you the Krypt key for Shujinko's spear move.
 
Scorpion is killing my will to play this game!! What a punk?! I would love to hear how long it takes for the MK dev team to pass this test.
 
Random Fact: Noob Saibot is not a single character, because John Tobias was dropped from the staff. Noob Saibot backwards is Boon Tobias, which were the two original creators of Mortal Kombat. That is the reason why its Noob - Smoke, if it hadn't been for Tobias, Noob would be one selectable character, and so would be Smoke.

okay, I don't want to constantly make new threads and get flamed, but where exactly is the white lotus society? I searched it, but couldn't find where it was..
 
For those who used Baraka, Mileena or anyone for that matter... what combo/method did you use to defeat him?
 
I beat him the first time I faught him using Nightwolf. I just used his Tomahawk 1,2,3,4 combo over and over again and he went down in no time.
 
Hehe, I just noticed A glitch. When you reach the White Lotus Society, and you have to face jax to pass. Just start it, then exit, you'll be warped beside jax, and just run through :D
 
OMG.... 4,000 tries later and I got him finally.

Did it with Baraka's blade combo and blades of furry.

3,3,2,1,1 and toss the blades of furry in there as well when he gets up

I can sleep tonight now... :wink:
