WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT REVEALS MORTAL KOMBAT X PRODUCT LINEUP


Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed details of the premium product lineup for Mortal Kombat X, which includes Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, Kollector’s Edition, Premium Edition and Limited Edition. All premium products including the base game are available now for pre-order from participating retailers in North America. In addition, all who pre-order the game will receive legendary fighter, Goro as a playable character. Mortal Kombat X will release worldwide on April 14, 2015.

The Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition by Coarse will include:
• Exclusive Scorpion figurine and Certificate of Authenticity, designed by Coarse. Coarse has been recognized in Collector and Designer figure communities for their artistic approach, dedication to detail, and unique storytelling through sculpture.
• In-game Gold Scorpion Skin, inspired by the Coarse figurine
• The Kombat Pack, which includes access to four add-on playable characters from Klassic Kombatants to Iconic guest characters
• Available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft
• MSRP: $149.99


The Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition, imported from Europe and available for pre-order on Amazon.com exclusively, will include:
• Scorpion Statue
• Exclusive Steel Pack and Steel Card
• Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book Volume 1
• In-game Gold Scorpion Skin
• The Kombat Pack
• Available for PS4 and Xbox One
• MSRP: $179.99


The Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition will be available via download only and includes the following:
• The Kombat Pack
• Available for PS4, Xbox One, the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system for Microsoft; PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems and, Windows PC
• MSRP: $89.99


The Mortal Kombat X Limited Edition, available for pre-order exclusively at GameStop, will feature the following:
• Exclusive Scorpion Skin - this skin design, inspired by the Cold War, is a collaboration between NetherRealm Studios and a fan artist from the MKKollective.com, a crowd-sourced destination where Mortal Kombat enthusiasts can upload, submit and share their MK-related art, images, cosplay, music and videos.

- Not feeling that figurine, why it always has to be Scorpion? ( BTW. 1st figurine looks like D'Vorah to me :D )

LOL no wonder they took so bloody long to announce it, FOUR special editions!?!?

First the problem was waiting for the announcement so I could finally preorder the game, now the problem is evaluating what edition is best for me.
 
What I want to know is if the Gamestop Cold War Scorpion Skin comes with all editions if you preorder from there, and not just in their own "Limited Edition". Because I want both Scorpion Skins.

If not, then I wanna know if the skins will be able to purchase from Xbox Live or Playstation Store.

Here I was thinking as soon as they announced the Special Editions, I'd be able to choose one and go preorder right away, now I gotta figure this shit out.

NRS always release their preorder stuff as DLC.

it actually this The 'Kombat Pack' available in the Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition by Coarse and Premium Edition will include:

- Iconic Guest Characters
- Classic MK Kombatants
- Themed Skin Packs
 
If Gamestop/EB Games offers their Cold War Skin with all editions if you preorder from them, I'm definitely getting the "Coarse Kollector's Edition".

I doubt it's Jason since he's no longer own by Warner Bros. and I doubt they will do another horror movie character again for the second time. I'm surprise that the guest character was mention. I guess it won't be long until it gets leak out. I really want the collector's edition but I don't think my wallet can afford it :(.

It could be anyone. Hence the term "guest"

Crossing fingers for Predator, but would be content with Spawn. I know they're both the common nominees, but they fit the look perfectly.
