Being okay with a pirate is like being okay with a Snoop Dogg look-alike, lol it's just too out there for me.

There is a snoop dogg lookalike. His called nipsey hussle and his a rapper from west coast same as snoop dogg.

Skarlett is totally a vampire, and she's pretty cool. The thing that needs looking at is the unique moves. To signify her vampirism, they made all her specials have blood in them, but not too much creativity. To make these character's more like Dracula sounds like the coolest bet. Like a move that poofs your character into a swarm of bats, that you control just like rains orb of water he could move his enemys with. You could fly above, change back and attack from above; or fly right past your opponent and attack them from behind. Obviously this would be timed.
Making these characters like apex predators in 30 Days of Night sounds rightious, like moving in to fight really fast but then having normal high and low punches that resemble the savage swinging that would be used by creatures with such deadly claws.

Gimmicks like pirates/samurais sounds unnecessary, they could provide the vampires in the mk universe with their own culture that could be far more interesting than that, or (win win) happen to be a culture of 'dying with honor, x marks the spot digging blood suckers'.
I'd rather see what they do with Skarlett, than see a revamp of Nitara, but it seems the theme is Nitara. I say, retractable wings or she lost them as part of the prologue of her story, or make them crucial to her fightability. Let her flap around stage like some of the others can fly, and over all, make her use the shit out of them. If they brought back either one though, my main complaint is that the vampires don't have any culture, and for a nearly immortal species, this is wrong.

"Better" is a very subjective term. I'd rather not have one in the game, but as muhammed clearly points out above:

That is your opinion

Thanks for reiterating the point of a forum, in that it's full of opinions. :)

one vampire was too many if you ask me. it was a nice addition for the PS2 era MKs and thats where i think they should leave it. scarlet was basically a vampiric character, I think she's good enough
