SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Scratch that. I derped. One of the Cyber Lin Kuei mooks says his name. He says, " CONVERSION deletes weakness, Kuai Liang. Stop running. Rejoin the Lin Kuei."

My fault for missing that lol I feel like a doofus now XD
Thank you, I appreciate you acknowledging your mistake.

It wasn't bs. We had good reason to believe it was Bi-Han.

Sub-Zero in the game has no scar.
If anything this raises more questions than it answered.
Bi-Han was shown in the last comic after he killed Scorpion, wearing the same costume that unmasked Sub-Zero wore, and Kuai never killed Scorpion.

I think I should have explained myself a little better.

I'm not talking about ninja Sub-Zero, just unmasked Sub-Zero, I think believing that one was Bi Han was kind of farfetched.

We still don't know much about the main outfit, he could still be Bi or Kuai. I still think it's Kuai though but I can't be sure about this one.

Also we should rule out someone if they have their old outfits in the comic. If they are in the game then they could have them alts. We saw Quan Chi with his MKDA design in the comic and he's in the game. His MKDA outfit could be alt for Quan Chi in MKX.

I'm sorry if I missed something, or maybe it will be explained later on, but didn't Kuai Liang become a cyborg in mk9, die by Sindel's hand, and was then brought back by Quan Chi?

If so, how could this be the same character?

Taj Gill maybe the boss is the person who unite them all first...that doesn't exclude Onaga, but includes everybody. It's getting so interesting

I mentioned it yesterday... I think the "big bad" will be just a "god" version of another character, maybe even Reiko. Or we could even be in for a new Deadly Alliance of Shinnok + "god" character. Onaga would be cool but each day I'm more and more under the impression that it has nothing to do with him, just a literal BIG version of a known character.

As for costumes, you're all reading too much into it. If it's supposed to be a surprise, that could well be part of the plan to surprise us. Plus, if it's indeed a "god" version of one of these characters, they could change in their big bad version. I also can see Reiko as a possible sub-boss, in all honesty (if Havik turns into a god). Another thing to consider is that IF they really are trying to surprise us, they could be hiding some of these characters and that's why we haven't heard about them being in the game yet. It would make sense, actually: if Reiko, Havik, etc are unplayable bosses, they would try to keep them a secret so we would be trying to discover if they are in or not. That would be better than just throwing out in the wind: "this is the boss!!!"

PS.: Or Noob's ending was canon, he freed Havik, Havik's his pal and the big bad is some sort of god Noob Saibot.

Awesome issue! I hate it so much if they just exclude Reiko and Havik, because this issue coming out right before another trailer + mentioning that Reiko can become the blood demon seems too coincidental to be just a comic thing. They seem important to the story and to reveal Havik at the end of the comic like this + the whole thing of Havik being in "maybe...maybe not" during the stream (that was definitely planned) + Chaosrealm is mentioned in the comic by Raiden and was in the factions trailer so it's definitely playing a role!
With the roster being pretty skewed towards Special Forces and good guys so far, I just hope NRS will not tease us with this important part of the story only to have both killed off and not even be part of story mode. Remember, Shinnok is trapped in the amulet and is in story mode! Reiko has been in the whole Goro killing Kotal K'etz part, now after the Netherrealm war, how it can be insignificant according to some of you is beyond me..

So... not even Erron Black is a bad guy. NO COMMENTS! And people still say this game doesn't lack evil characters. Don't give me wrong, I actually loved Erron's atittude a lot, but how many "evil" characters 100% confirmed as evil in the comics: Kano, Mileena, Quan Chi and Shinnok. We still don't know if Reptile is only neutral, but it's looking that way so far, along with D'Vorah. And Scorpion os most definitely an anti-hero in X for sure, more good than neutral.

Anyway, I love that my boy Kuai came back as unmasked human. I love his character.
Mavado died, but he was so ugly and so not appealing at all, the designer didn't even bother to actually make him look cool.

Reiko may be dead in a few issues: NOOO!!!

I hope so man. But i got a feeling that reiko and havik are not gonna be in :( . Nrs be thinking lets make the fans happy with jax sonya and kung lao and leave awesome guys like reiko out. And for the evils in this game, i think kotal and his crew gonna turn evil

There are a bunch of resurrections at the end of the Netherrealm War, and as a wraith, Quan Chi could have made him whatever he wanted. Cyborg, human...

Yeah the direction looks to be killing off every post UMK3 character that's not playable in the game either in Story Mode or the comics.

I mean Mavado was the first Red Dragon ever introduced in MK lore and they got rid of him just like that. Seems like NRS really wants to do away with the 3D era, except for a really select few.

I would say for people to simply forget Kuai was ever a cyborg. NRS did it and it was an extremely unpopular move from their part. I for one, after so much rage when MK9 roster was revealed, couldn't be happier!

Isn't this game supposed to be post trilogy so it would be very silly if only Shinnok, Kenshi & Quan Chi are in post trilogy. They just did a freaking game with all of these guys. I don't mind them to be in, but if I had to choose between any combo from Sonya, Johnny, Jax & Kung Lao vs. Reiko, Havik & Shinnok - I'd choose the latter 9 times out of 10! I'm really not a fan of many post MK trilogy characters, but Havik, Reiko, Shinnok (Quan Chi and Kenshi) are actually all characters I like.

We have to remember that the MK universe is one in which magic and necromancy and all other types of crazy ass shite is possible.

Resurrection isn't farfetched, neither is ttransmutation.

Could be anything, for sure. i would be happy with Reiko as a boss.

But my head hurts everytime I think I'm getting close, but we are veeeeery far away from the truth!

Reiko isn't making it into MKX at all lol.
Like I said, as soon as Mileena finds out what's he's up to they're going to need to dedicate an entire Volume to show the carnage.

latest

He made him a cyborg. NRS has some explaining to do.
