SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

The MKX costume looks more like the MK9 alt without the ninja mask. I don't know where the legacy comparisons are coming from.

as far as a new ninja is concerned I think that's where Takeda/Forest Fox comes in. and yes I subscribe to the idea that they are one and the same, I believe Takeda will name himself Fox in honor of the friend he had to kill.

I hope not for the sake of Forest Fox being a a stupid name and possessed or not, he murdered the entire Shira Ryu. I also think Takeda is going to be in the game as the new ninja as well though.

With Ermac, it's not his costume that bothers me. I mean I do prefer his face covered cause it's more mysterious, but his zombie face works. I just don't like how he's so skinny and more flamboyant now when he was a complete beast in the last game. Just doesn't come off as badass as he use to in my opinion.

Seeing that Injustice had two female fighters then I can see us having two female characters. I can see Frost and Tanya (if she is not on the main roster) or Sareena as DLC.

I have a feeling that they are going to sell DLC out the ass for MKX. They had 6 characters as DLC for Injustice but two of them only happened due to popular demand and the fact that the DLC was selling EXTREMELY well.

If the DLC sells really well for MKX, I wouldnt be surprised if we get around 8-10 characters or so. We can probably expect costume DLC out the ass as well.

I don't think we'll be seeing Injustice levels of costume dlc. The reason we got so many was because NRS had such a large pool to choose from. Only a select few were original, most were pulled straight from comics. If they want to do the same for MKX they'll need to either go all Classic or do some heavy drafting on the drawing board.

If Outworld magic can make Kabal fast, I'm sure Outworld magic can make a person age slowly. Basically: magic.

He matches Salazar's description tit for tat.

-Salazar is described as quiet. Erron Black doesn't say a word.
-Salazar is from Earthrealm. Erron Black has guns and bullets.
-Salazar has an American accent. Erron Black wears cowboy get-up; cowboys are an American thing.
-Salazar is a mercenary and serves the current emperor. Erron Black appears to be a gun-for-hire and is serving Kotal.

Lol You just made a case for Erron not saying a word but then mentioning that Salazar has an American accent. That doesn't really coincide, buddy. Plus, weren't the original cowboys Mexicans?

But Salazar's bio does describe him as being quiet and sounding American, so I'm not sure what the discrepancy in Greyjoy's post is. Erron not talking so far doesn't mean he doesn't talk period.

Based on his description, I truly believe that Salazar = Black, for various reasons. I'm not quite sure why we're discussing cowboys, or the origin, as if costumes have anything remotely to do with character origins, etc. NRS will design a costume they feel is cool enough to sell the character and justify it any way they chose.

Also, I like the theory that it could be Sonya's father. Sadly, if Salazar is the same person as Black, then I highly doubt he would only be 30s/40s.

How is it logically unsound for a man with an American accent to be quiet?

And maybe it did originate in another country, but it's still entirely symbolic of western frontier America and more famous world-wide because of it.

The American Cowboy originated from the Mexican "Vaquero". Although the American Cowboy was prevalent throughout the Western Frontier, it is mostly associated with the state of Texas, which until 1836 was a part of Mexico.

That clears it up, then. But cowboys have been popularized as an American thing because of all the western movies in the 20th century.

As far as we know he's not a cowboy, he could be a gaucho, lmao.

There's no point in discussing this, there's 99% chances he's an american.

THIS is what you call a REAL Cowboy!

I found it hilarious how Tasia (from MK: Special Forces) made a cameo appearance in comic #5. LOL.
If that garbage character Tasia from MK: Special Forces, makes it into the MKX main roster over Tremor, I would both laugh and be annoyed at the same time.
